Guaranty Trust Bank, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, supports child healthcare, under its Orange Ribbon Initiative. An important part of this initiative is the support for children living with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

This programme is held annually and the 5th edition will hold from 30th June - 10th July 2015. The 2015 autism programme includes a 2-day conference on 30th June and 1st July and a 7-day consultation service for children assessment from 2nd - 10th July.

The 2-day autism conference themed 'Bridging Gaps and Transforming Lives'. encompasses a broad array of learning and discussion which include - helping individuals with special needs participate in the political process, social justice education quality and access to technology, behaviour training and management of autism, the need for good diagnosis and design of treatment, teaching non-verbal chidden functional communication, to mention a few. The conference will hold at MUSON centre, Onikan, Lagos. It is open to Parents, Caregivers, Health Workers and Teachers. To be a part,  register on www.gtbank.com/autism.

Consultation service is provided to parents who have children with one developmental issue or the other.
